Shine with Class Saathi: An Interview with Mrs. Shaheen Taj
October 24, 2024

Hello, dedicated educators! Today, we're thrilled to share another inspiring story - Mrs. Shaheen Taj, a passionate teacher at Valley Public School, Narasapura as part of our "Shine with Class Saathi" campaign.

Interviewer: Mrs. Shaheen, what drew you to the teaching profession, particularly in Maths and Science?

Mrs. Shaheen: I've always been fascinated by Mathematics. Teaching brings me immense satisfaction because it feels like I'm contributing to shaping the future of our nation. Guiding students and helping them find the right path is incredibly fulfilling.

Interviewer: Can you tell us more about your roles and responsibilities at Valley Public School?

Mrs. Shaheen: I teach Maths and Science, with Science being my major subject as I have done BSc in Science. I'm also the in-charge teacher, or coordinator, at Valley Public School. In this role, I identify gaps in our educational system and take feedback from parents to improve our approach.

Interviewer: What are your future aspirations in the field of education?

Mrs. Shaheen: In the future, I hope to become a lecturer or teach higher grades. I want to continue growing in my field and making a difference in students' lives.

Interviewer: What challenges do you face in the classroom, and how do you address them?

Mrs. Shaheen: One challenge is dealing with rebellious students when they are questioned. It's important to improvise and continually work on yourself to handle tough situations. My goal is to cater to the needs of every student and be supportive because every child is special and talented in their own way. For students with less grasping power, I use digital mediums, such as multimedia resources and videos, to aid their learning.

Interviewer: What advice do you have for students and fellow teachers?

Mrs. Shaheen: For students, my advice is to utilize your time properly and work on building concentration. For teachers, personalized teaching is the best practice because everyone is different. Instead of complaining about weaker students, be supportive and understand their gaps. Stay with them and help them improve.

Interviewer: How has Class Saathi impacted your teaching experience?

Mrs. Shaheen: I'm very thankful for Class Saathi. It has been a great experience for teachers, providing valuable tools to support and engage students, especially in the post-pandemic era.

Interviewer: Thank you for sharing your inspiring story, Mrs. Shaheen.
