UP PCS Prelims 2025 Results Announced

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially declared the results for the PCS Prelims 2025 and the ACF/RFO Prelims 2025 exams. A total of 11,727 candidates have been provisionally selected to move forward to the mains examination stage, bringing them one step closer to joining the state civil services.

Exam Statistics and Vacancy Details

For this recruitment cycle, the UPPSC received an overwhelming response with 6,26,387 candidates applying online following the advertisement released on February 20. Out of these applicants, 2,65,270 candidates appeared for the preliminary examination conducted on October 12.

This year, the number of vacancies has significantly increased from 200 to 920 posts. The breakdown includes 814 posts for the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) and 106 posts for Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) and Regional Forest Officer (RFO).

Next Steps for Qualified Candidates

UPPSC Secretary Ashok Kumar confirmed that the 11,727 candidates who qualified in the prelims are now eligible to appear for the PCS Mains 2025 exam. The Commission will soon release detailed instructions regarding the mains exam schedule and the online application process for these candidates.

Information such as individual marks, cut-off scores, and other relevant details will be published on the official UPPSC website once the final results are declared.
