Shine with Class Saathi: Meet the Amazing Mrs Swathi N.!
July 17, 2024

Hello, wonderful educators! Today, we're excited to share an inspiring story from Mrs. Swathi N., a dedicated teacher at Valley Public School, Narasapura as part of our "Shine with Class Saathi" campaign.

Interviewer: Mrs. Swathi, can you tell us a bit about your background and what inspired you to become a teacher?

Mrs. Swathi: I have 8 years of teaching experience and currently teach English and Science to students in grades 6 to 10. I was inspired by my own teachers to enter this noble profession. Teaching in rural areas can be challenging due to a lack of resources and expertise, but it's incredibly rewarding.

Interviewer: How do you see the future of teaching evolving with technology?

Mrs. Swathi: I believe technology is making teaching easier and more effective. Smart classrooms are the future. In the next few years, I see myself growing and broadening my knowledge to better serve my students.

Interviewer: What challenges do you face in keeping students engaged, and how does Class Saathi help?

Mrs. Swathi: One major challenge is maintaining students' attention during back-to-back classes. Class Saathi helps immensely with its clickers, MCQs, student winner names on the board, and leaderboards, which keep students motivated and fresh.

Interviewer: Can you share some of the innovative teaching methods you use in your classroom?

Mrs. Swathi: Sure! I start with physical activities to energize the students, and then move on to team-building activities and off-topic discussions to boost their confidence. I share inspiring stories, conduct reading activities, and run contests like "Speaker of the Day" to make learning fun and interactive.

Interviewer: What advice do you have for your students and fellow teachers?

Mrs. Swathi: For students, I say, "Accept whatever comes your way happily, and never suppress yourself. Speak up and raise questions when in doubt." For teachers, "Guide your students at every step and don't let complaints from parents affect you. Pre-plan your lessons and stay updated with technology."

Interviewer: Thank you for sharing your inspiring story, Mrs. Swathi.
