Tech Queen of Kalaburagi: How Ms. Ashwini is Powering Young Innovators with Class Saathi
May 06, 2025

At KenBridge School, Kalaburagi, robotics isn’t just a subject — it’s a doorway to the future. We sat down with Ms. Ashwini, a passionate Robotics educator, to learn how she’s shaping young tech minds with the help of Class Saathi.

Interviewer: Ms. Ashwini, tell us a bit about your journey.

Ms. Ashwini: I’m from Gulbarga and hold a degree in Electronics and Communication. I have about 15 years of work experience, including time working in Bangalore. Due to some family reasons, I moved back home and joined KenBridge School, where I now teach Robotics to grades 7 and 8.

Interviewer: What excites you most about teaching Robotics to today’s students?

Ms. Ashwini: Students today are naturally active on computers and games, but they often lack a deeper technical understanding. Also, their attention spans are short — they want to jump straight to the practical parts without sitting through theory! So, I work on making the theoretical concepts engaging and meaningful for them.

Interviewer: How do you keep students involved in your classes?

Ms. Ashwini: I use open-forum sessions where they can interact freely. We teach programming languages like C and C++, directly connecting them to the robot models they want to build. Since AI and technology are everywhere, they must grasp these fundamentals early.

Interviewer: How has Class Saathi helped in your classroom?

Ms. Ashwini: Oh, I saw a drastic change in my students’ faces when I started using Class Saathi! I no longer need to search for extra materials outside — the app’s content is more than enough. It has saved me so much time and made it easier to level up my teaching. Honestly, the Class Saathi content is very impressive and has streamlined my work beautifully.
