Hello, dedicated educators! Today, we’re thrilled to share another inspiring story – Mrs. Pramodini, a passionate teacher at Kenbridge School, Kalaburagi, as part of our “Shine with Class Saathi” campaign.
Interviewer: Mrs. Pramodini, could you tell us what inspired you to become a teacher?
Mrs. Pramodini: Teaching has always been my passion. I started tutoring when I was just 16, and from a young age, I developed a knack for understanding student behavior. Social studies for grades 8-10 is my area, and I aim to make learning as engaging as possible.
Interviewer: How do you view the future of teaching?
Mrs. Pramodini: It’s becoming increasingly crucial for teachers to adapt quickly. Students today are tech-savvy, and we, as teachers, must continuously update ourselves to stay connected with them. Building trust and understanding each student's unique mindset is key to modern education.
Interviewer: That’s insightful. How has Class Saathi helped in your teaching?
Mrs. Pramodini: Class Saathi has genuinely brightened up my classroom! Unlike traditional methods where some students might hesitate to participate, Class Saathi ensures that every student is engaged and allows me to focus on each one individually.
Interviewer: Social studies can sometimes be challenging for students. How do you make it engaging?
Mrs. Pramodini: I try to connect historical events with the calendar dates, making it easier for students to follow along. I encourage them to jot down main points instead of memorizing paragraphs, which simplifies learning and enhances retention.
Interviewer: What’s your take on the role of technology in classrooms today?
Mrs. Pramodini: Technology is a double-edged sword. If used correctly, it’s an amazing tool. But with social media, students often withdraw from their real-life connections. I encourage parents to spend quality time with their children and remind students that no social media influencer can match the impact a teacher has.
Mrs. Pramodini’s dedication and unique teaching approach show how she leverages traditional values while embracing modern tools like Class Saathi to create a balanced and effective learning environment.
